Good Morning,

FUN FACT
The Velella velella recently has been washing up all over the beaches of Tofino, almost looking like fleets of minuscule sailboats. It is commonly known by the names sea raft, by-the-wind sailor, purple sail, little sail, or simply Velella. The Velella is a cosmopolitan free-floating hydrozoan that lives on the surface of the open ocean and sometimes washes up on shore as seen recently in Tofino.
