FUN FACT
There are 3 orca ecotypes that live in the North Pacific: residents, Biggs (transient), and offshores. Each ecotype is genetically distinct and has its own unique language, culture, prey preference, and hunting strategy. In Clayoquot Sound we see Biggs the most often, including a sighting earlier this week!
