Escape the ordinary and venture into Nism̓aakqin Park, formally Maquinna Provincial Park for a one-of-a-kind adventure. On our Tofino Hot Springs Cove tour, you’ll cruise along the breathtaking west coast of Vancouver Island, walk through lush rainforest, and soak in natural geothermal pools overlooking the open Pacific Ocean.

This off-grid oasis is only accessible by boat—and we make the journey as unforgettable as the destination.

What to Expect on the Tour

Scenic Eco-Marine Boat Ride from Tofino Harbour

Your journey begins with a 90-minute covered and heated boat ride north from Tofino Harbour. Along the way, keep your camera ready—you’ll likely spot sea otters, sea lions, whales, and soaring bald eagles against the rugged coastal backdrop.

Rainforest Walk to the Springs

Upon arrival at Maquinna Provincial Park, you’ll stroll a 2 km (1.24mil) cedar boardwalk through pristine coastal rainforest. This 35 to 40 minute walk leads you to the edge of the continent, where Hot Springs Cove awaits.

Relax in Natural Hot Springs

At the end of the trail, a series of thermal rock pools and water fall spill into the ocean, heated by volcanic energy beneath the earth. Enjoy up to three hours at the park: hiking, soaking, relaxing, and exploring before heading back via another scenic ride.
