The shallow seas and temperate rainforest of Tofino, British Columbia support an astonishing abundance of wildlife. Whales grace our waters, bears forage along our beaches, and wolves are still heard in our haunting, cathedral-like forest. This is a place worth preserving.

West Coast Aquatic Safaris invites you, your friends and family to see for yourselves. Our boat has been specially designed to make the most of your experience, and our tours to take you off the beaten path. Environmentally responsible, knowledgeable, innovative and safe, West Coast Aquatic Safaris represents a new wave of ecological tourism.

Aiming to educate, inspire, and raise the spirits of the young & young-at-heart, the 24th annual Pacific Rim Whale Festival is an extraordinary opportunity to learn about coastal life & marine ecosystems, and a great example of west coast spirit, hospitality, sense of community and culture. Marking the official opening of the area’s prime whale watching season, festivities - many free of charge - include culinary, musical, family-friendly and educational events. The Pacific Rim Whale Festival is a not-for-profit annual event supported by generous corporate and personal sponsorships. Whale Festival fundraising efforts benefit local marine field-based research initiatives, which in turn support the whales! West Coast Aquatic Safaris is proud to be a corporate sponsor for this year's event.
