Sun, Surf & Cetaceans

Are they gone yet?

The spring has been moving along at a furious pace, with whale sightings having been spectacular and varying greatly from day to day. Just this week we have seen many Grey Whales, a lot of Humpbacks, which is nice since it is still quite early in the season and up to 10 Orcas just the other day as well. With great conditions on the water over the Easter holiday weekend, it gave our captains and guest’s ample opportunity to go several miles offshore with barely a ripple of wave to locate some very active and friendly spring Humpbacks. With such calm seas it makes for a very pleasant experience for guest’s of all ages to get a generous amount of time with one particular species of wildlife then move around to seek out many other things without being slowed down by large swell and choppy waves.

With the comfort of a First-Class vessel to whisk you up the coastline or into the sheltered inlets there are little or no limits to where we can get to or what we might see. With more and more people recognizing the advantages of our custom built vessels, the idea of a private charter for a family whale watch or a romantic cruise into Tofino Inlet is becoming more and more in demand. With each of our boats available for such a one of a kind experience it is becoming even more important to make your plans in advance to ensure we still have room for your family and friends.
