Step aboard Nanuq or Wasco on one of our tours and you might just be lucky enough to see a wolf or two. Step into our office, and you’ll probably find the sub species of the canis lupus, the canis familiaris, better known as the domesticated dog. Tofino is world renowned for having some of the nicest beaches in the world, and these beaches play a major role “doggie paradise”. Any time of year and at any time of day, if you take a stroll on Chesterman Beach, you are sure to come across anything from a Great Dane to a Pomeranian playing in the surf or digging in the sand.
Many visitors to Tofino also bring their furry friends on holiday with them. As Tofino is a very dog-oriented community, numerous hotels, lodges and bed & breakfasts offer accommodation suited for pets. We here at West Coast Aquatic Safaris are also able to say that we too are dog friendly! We love bringing our own dogs to work and we also love when people stop by our main office with one of their furry friends. Now, for the month of August, we are also able to offer complimentary dog walking and sitting for any fur friend whose family might be out on one of our safaris. Our summer intern, Andrew, is a bit of a dog whisperer and before he heads back to school, we’d like him to hang out with your pooch! For dog sitting availability for the month of August, contact the office and we can give you more details.
While you may not be able to have your dog friends with you on Wasco or Nanuq. But bring them into West Coast Aquatic Safaris, and like you, they are guaranteed to have a great time!
