I don’t want to jinx this… but it looks like spring may have arrived. We have been more than lucky to have some sunny skies and smaller swell in perfect time for the Pacific Rim Whale Festival. It seems that the whales have also taken a cue from Mother Nature as they’ve returned to their spring and summer feeding grounds here in Tofino. Trips aboard WASCO and NANUQ have been phenomenal all week long, and so have the wildlife sighting! Jeff scored his first hat
trick of the season on Friday when he and his crew located Grey Whales, Humpbacks and Orcas en route to the Hot Springs. This is an amazing start to the season and has created quite the buzz around the office.
On the topic of the office, I’m going to spend the next few blog posts helping you get to know our staff at West Coast Aquatic Safaris a little better. We think we have a pretty awesome crew, and we’d like to show you why. If you have any questionf for any of our staff, send them this way and we’ll do our best to answer them. Stay tuned!!
