The Accessible Wilderness Society is a non-profit organization that is working hard to “Create, Develop and Promote” outdoor recreational opportunities for “Every Body”.
Our primary mission is to begin development of Canada’s first “Universally Designed” Resort and Campground facility on Vancouver Island. It is our hope that this project will act as a prototype for similar developments across the Province. In time we expect the rest of the Nation to follow suit and will be looking at the Roberts Lake facility as the example of a truly “All Inclusive” resort.
